Looking is not seeing!
To look and to see
one has to put something
special in the glance,
in its hold, something
like culture, wisdom,
sensibility.
In this seeing there
is the possibility
to create recall-memories
of a permanent lived
experience.
We aim the ones
who want to spend
a romantic stay
in the very heart
of Rome, or rather
to the ones who
prize the beautiful,
the art and the
search of the unique.

Since 1937 Hotel
Campo de Fiori Is
being hosted by
an Antique structure
located in the very
heart of Baroque
Rome in the characteristic
and vivacious Campo
de Fiori neighbourhood.
Campo de Fiori is
a delightful "boutique
hotel", intimate
and cosy, which
offers its customers
relaxing and well-being
stays
The hotel owes its
name to the Campo
de Fiori Square,
which during the
day becomes a fruit
and vegetable market
whereas in the evening
it fills with young
people who meet
for an evening drink
or for dinner in
the various restaurants
here in the area,
indeed
there are
many tourists who
come here to taste
the unique stile
of Rome.
Until 1400 the square,
which did not exist
in the form it is
nowadays, was covered
with flowers and
vegetable gardens
from whom it's name
originates. According
to the legend, the
square owes it's
name to Flora (a
woman loved by Pompeo,
an ancient Roman
noble who dedicated
the square to her).
In 1456, Pope Callisto
III had the square
paved in a more
vast project for
the entire area
known as Parione.
This urbanization
project opened the
way for the building
of major important
buildings such as
Palazzo Orsini which
is situated directly
in front of our
hotel.
The Hotel Campo
de Fiori offers
two types of accomodations:
the rooms situated
in the central building
and 13 apartments
located in the Campo
de' Fiori area.
